A buddie is someone players order to play a game with, talk to, or just hang out with online. These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service.
Joining
- 1
You need to be 18 or older and have a buddie account with a verified email. That's the only requirement.
- 2
Fill in the application: your buddie name, a photo, a short voice intro, your games and languages, when you're usually free and a few questions about you.
- 3
Our team reviews it within 24 hours. If it's rejected, you can apply again after 7 days.
- 4
Once approved, add your services. Each new service — and every change to one — is checked before players can order it.
Your profile and prices
Profile
- Use a real photo of you. Anything sexual or suggestive is rejected.
- List your real games and ranks, and only genuine screenshots.
- Write your bio for players: what's fun about playing with you.
Prices
- You set your own prices — per session, hour, game or block of minutes. The lowest is 1 Coin (1 Coin = US$1).
- You can run promotions: a free or discounted first order, or a discount for a set time or number of orders.
- In chat you can send a player a service card with a special price. It's valid for 24 hours and can be used once.
Orders, step by step
- 1
The player pays when they order. buddie holds the money until the order is finished.
- 2
Accept or decline within 24 hours. If you don't answer, the order is cancelled and refunded.
- 3
Start within 24 hours of accepting — or, for an order with a time slot, within 2 hours of its start (not more than 5 minutes early).
- 4
Play. You can mark games as done, pause the clock, and talk in a voice call with screen sharing from the order room.
- 5
End the order when you've delivered it. Your earnings then wait out your level's payout hold.
Orders that aren't accepted or started in time are cancelled and the player gets a full refund.
Talking with players
First message
Reply quickly and sound like a friend, not a help desk.
Player: Anyone up for some Valorant?
You: Yes! I'm free right now 😊 Ranked or something chill?
Player: Anyone up for some Valorant?
You: I provide gaming services. Place an order.
During the game
Say hello first, ask what they want from the session, and keep the chat going between rounds.
You: Hey, can you hear me okay? What are we going for today — climbing or just having fun?
You: (joins and says nothing)
Finishing
- If time runs out mid-match, finish the match.
- Thank them and ask politely for a review.
- Tips and gifts are welcome — never ask more than once.
Levels and getting paid
Your store rating is a score out of 100, updated every day: profile information (10), exposure (15), responsiveness (18) and service (57). A higher level shows you to more players and pays you out sooner. Commission is the same at every level.
| Level | Points | Paid out after |
|---|---|---|
| Buddie Lv.1 | 0–39 | 96 hours |
| Buddie Lv.2 | 40+ | 72 hours |
| Buddie Lv.3 | 50+ | 48 hours |
| eStar 1 | 70+ | 24 hours |
| eStar 2 | 85+ | 24 hours |
Withdrawing
- Add your payout account once on the Earnings page — bank (IBAN), PayPal or a crypto wallet, in your own name.
- The minimum withdrawal is 30 Coins. Our team checks and pays every request.
- Commission is 20% of what you withdraw. Tips, gifts, subscriptions and wishes have 10%, taken when you receive them.
- Only earnings can be withdrawn. Coins you topped up yourself can be spent, not withdrawn.
- A report on an order can freeze its payment until our team has looked at it.
Earning more
- Keep your availability up to date — players look for who's online now.
- Subscriptions: a monthly price (1–500 Coins) with a 5–50% discount on your services, unlimited chat and subscriber-only photos.
- Wishes: a goal supporters can chip in to, up to 3 a month.
- Post on your Feeds tab, keep your album fresh, and say hello to your regulars now and then.
What isn't allowed
Payments outside buddie are strictly forbidden. Asking for money, gifts or payment any other way — or moving a player off buddie to pay you — can get you banned permanently.
- Adult or sexual services, content or talk — anywhere on buddie.
- Sharing phone numbers or social handles, or meeting a player in person.
- Insulting players or other buddies, or refusing players because of who they are.
- Fake reviews, photos, screenshots or ranks, or pretending to be someone else.
- Playing on a player's account or asking for their login.
- Recording a call or chat without permission.
- More than one buddie account, or someone else using yours.
- A payout account that isn't yours.
If a rule is broken
- An upheld complaint costs 5 store rating points, and the order's payment can be frozen.
- Content can be removed and your buddie status taken away. Your earnings can still be withdrawn.
- Serious or repeated breaches can end in a permanent ban.
- Think we got it wrong? Open a support ticket — a person reads every one.
Anything unclear here, or a decision you want reviewed — write to support@buddie.gg and a person will read it.
